Do you have trouble with your dog at the vet? To help you navigate these stressful situations, Canines for Change is offering a No Stress Vet Visit seminar.

In these small group sessions, we will work on quick, appropriate strategies to calm your dog. You'll learn

• What you can do when they are getting an exam to keep them still and calm

• What you can do when NOT at the vet to help your dog

• How to read your dog to know what’s driving their behavior and teach a replacement behavior

• About behavior modification that you can use in other stressful situations

Each session will be limited to 4 dogs and will be held throughout December. Sign up for one or all three if you need more practice!

• Pay a one-time $25 program fee (covers your volunteer t-shirt and materials)

Volunteers must be 18 or older to volunteer independently. Youth ages 16–17 may volunteer with a parent or guardian if completing hours for an approved program.

Please bring a valid driver’s license and $25 for the program fee. Comfortable, closed-toe shoes are recommended.
